Lash Enhancing Eyeliner gives the illusion of fuller, thicker lashes and enhances the eye, however the procedure is not recommended for everyone. To prevent any complications relating to your overall well-being, please review all the information below including the requirements, who may not be a candidate, and medications to avoid before your appointment.

Proper preparation for a permanent makeup appointment will also help you to achieve the best possible healed results, so be sure to actively prepare by perhaps putting a reminder in your phone about what you will need to abstain from.

Appointments typically last 2-2.5 hours; babies or children cannot be present during your appointment, so please make necessary arrangements in advance.

REQUIREMENTS BEFORE GETTING EYELINER

  • Stop using any lash growth serums 4 weeks prior to procedure.

  • Any lash extensions must be removed before each session.

  • Do not wear contacts or any makeup to your appointment.

  • Absolutely no alcohol or caffeine 24 hours before your appointment.

  • No blood thinners such as ibuprofen, aspirin, niacin, vitamin E, fish oil or other vitamins unless medically necessary 72 hours before. All of these items thin the blood and causes bleeding which pushes the pigment out of the skin and will compromise your results. Tylenol is acceptable.

  • Do not workout or sweat heavily the day of your procedure or for 2 weeks after - it expands the pores and increases blood flow.

  • No intentional tanning 2 weeks prior.  If you arrive with a sunburn, you will be asked to reschedule and forfeit your deposit. Please consider this if booking after a vacation.

IF YOU COME TO YOUR APPOINTMENT AND DID NOT FOLLOW THE PRE-PROCEDURE PREP AND ARE DENIED SERVICE BECAUSE OF IT, YOU WILL FORFEIT YOUR DEPOSIT.

EYELINER AFTERCARE

Eyeliner is amazing but it does require some maintenance after you leave the studio to make sure it lasts as long as possible and looks great!  Follow this aftercare until you're healed - you will be healed when all flaking is gone!

  • Wash gently with mild cleanser 2x/day, then pat dry immediately.

  • Do not go swimming, do heavy sweaty exercise, or take long/steamy showers until healed

  • Do not use any eye makeup until healed

  • Do allow flaking or scabbing to fall off on its own - pulling it off too soon could pull pigment out

  • Apply provided A&D ointment sparingly if the area is extremely dry, tight, or itchy.

  • Protect your eyes when in direct sunlight with a hat or sunglasses.

  • Call, text or email us if you have any questions about healing.

  • Extreme redness, swelling, pain or seepage are all signs of a reaction or possible infection. This would be extremely rare but if it occurs, call a doctor immediately!
